Copying a Previous Event

If you are running an event with the same setup year-over-year, you can elect to Duplicate Event instead of creating a new one from scratch.

You will then be prompted to update the name and description, if desired, as well as setting the new start and end dates and time.

A new event tile is created in the Planning column, and the Event Dashboard will automatically lauch.

All Event Setup items will be brought over, as well as Revenue Goals, any Income Allocation Rules, any set confirmation emails, portal messages, Ticket Types and Meal Choices, Sponsorship Types and Benefits, Spur of the Moment Items, and Auction Settings.

Items that are not brought over from the previous event include all variable pieces, including Event Attendees, Sponsors, linked income, and Auction Packages.
