Enabling Table Captains
The Table Captains section only appears once you enable the port. From the Event, in the Configuration tab, select the Enable Portal box.
Fields
Require email address for table guests
Require that guests enter their email address when registering for an event.
Allow table overflow
Allow table captains to invite more guests than there are seats for at their table.
Allow search by first/last name
Allow table captains to search your Compass-360 database for constituents by first and last name, so that they can select guest to invite.
Show emails of guest being searched for
Allow table captains to search your Compass-360 database for constituents by email address, so that they can select guest to invite.
Allow custom invitation emails
Allow your table captains to create custom emails that will be used when they invite guest to their tables.
CC table captain on invite emails
If you have multiple table captains managing the same table, the table captains will be copied on emails when inviting guests.
Invitation Email
Select the email that will be sent to the guests when a Table Captain invites them to the table.
Follow-Up Email
Select the email that will be sent to the guest when a Table Captain follows up with them in regards to purchasing a ticket at their table.
Portal Greeting
Enter the greeting message that will appear on the top of the Table Captain Portal.
Portal Closed
Enter a message that will be displayed when the Table Captain portal is closed. To close the portal, unselect the Enable Portal box.
