Income Module Overview
Compass tracks income records that have been generated through various activities by way of invoices/receipts. These invoices can be viewed, printed, and emailed and display specific line item detail that is associated with the income record. A blue icon indicates that an associated invoice has been paid and therefore serves as a detailed receipt. A red icon indicates that there is an income record (i.e. sales record) but it has not yet been paid. Queries
Return a list of income records based on preexisting parameters built in a query directly from the Income Module.
Record Income
Record new income that needs to be manually added to your database.
Edit Entry
Select to open the record that is highlighted into a detailed window to make edits.
Letters
Generate a hard copy letter for the highlighted record(s).
Options
Advanced tools for working with income records. This is also where the Admin account can access the ability to delete an income record.
Important to note:
By default, only the Admin account has the permission to delete income records. However, the Admin account can grant permission to other accounts via the User Management Module.
Funding Needs
Define your funding / allocation structure to mirror your chart of accounts.
Merchant Portal
Access your merchant processor portal directly from within Compass-360.
Cards On File
View any income records that have been classified as a “store credit” and are available to accept payment against.
Export Data
Export specific income records into Excel.
