Updating the Compass-360 Admin Password
Compass-360 comes with a default Admin account set up when you initially install the software. To best protect your Compass-360 security, reset the password for your Admin account.
- Log into Compass-360 and navigate to the User Management Module.
- In the User Management Module, load all user by selecting the magnifying glass button on the top right of the module (next to the Quick Account Search.) From the populated list, select the Admin account and from the bottom bar, select Edit Account.
- The Edit User Account Management will open. Change the password and click Save.
Important to note:
Admin Accounts are not tied to anyone. It is the system administrator, external to all other users and is unique to itself. You can edit and assign a constituent to the account – unlike the other two system accounts. Assign with discretion. Resetting the password will not work with the Admin Account if a constituent is not assigned to the account.
